At Home with The House of Songs: Bonnie Montgomery "Just Your Style" Single Release

Today, At Home with The House of Songs features the one and only Bonnie Montgomery. Bonnie is an Arkansas native, now living in Austin. She has been touring extensively including a continuous run with one of Texas music’s biggest legends, Ray Wylie Hubbard.  In addition, Montgomery won the Ameripolitan Outlaw Female of the Year (2016), Arkansas Country Music Awards - Female Vocalist of the Year (2018) and ACMA Americana Artist of the Year (2018/2019).

Bonnie was part of our 2018 Pre-AmericanaFest Songwriter Summit in Northwest Arkansas, has participated in the ATXP2P program with James Steinle, and was a featured performer at our Tacodeli Songwriter Series.  She’s a multi talented artist who can fluctuate between Rock and Roll, Outlaw Country, and Opera without missing a beat, and she’s one of the funniest and nicest people in the music business.

She is releasing a brand new single TODAY entitled, “Just Your Style”.  This will be her second single collaboration with another Texas legend, Rosie Flores.

We encourage you to tune in and support Bonnie, and all of our fellow musicians in this uncertain time by making donations to artists or purchasing music and/or merchandise.

“Just Your Style” is be available on iTunes and on Bonnie’s website.

“We were planning to release another single this week (recorded during the same session as "You Can't Shake" at yellow DOG Studios with Rosie Flores producing/shredding and Dave Percefell engineering) and in light of this crisis, we're thinking we’re going ahead. Here why: It's a rocker, one that you turn up to full volume while driving with the windows down, and well, I think we need that now more than ever. Music is a healer, a therapy, and just feels good. This song is also an old one that I wrote years ago and played a million times live and up till now, we never released a studio recording of it. Old school fans will recognize it for sure. So, stay tuned and stay well. I have so much respect and love to send to our health care workers and anyone who is suffering through this difficult time. Peace and love " - Bonnie
