Ivy Barney
Ivy Barney is the Senior Director of Inbound Quality for the Walmart US Supply Chain, responsible for creating and implementing a vision and strategy for supplier quality that leverages technology, data science and industry leading principles to enable seamless product flow through the Walmart US Supply Chain. She also has operational responsibility for 124 sites ($50MM P&L) providing efficient flow of 490MM supply chain assets annually.
Ivy leads the African American Employee Resource Group for Walmart. In her prior role as Sr. Director of Supply Chain Services,Ivy led a team responsible for optimizing inbound transportation, distribution and reverse logistics for the Walmart US Supply Chain. Ivy joined Walmart in Store Operations in 2010, and served as Divisional Merchandise Director and Director of Innovations for the MS River Delta Division ($20B in Revenue), where she led teams using data-driven approaches to increase sales and improve operational execution for ~300 Walmart stores in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Prior to joining Walmart, Ivy spent 11 years in Technology Consulting with Accenture, delivering enterprise technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the Telecommunications, Media &; Entertainment industries.
Ivy earned a Master of Business Administration from the Tulane University Freeman School of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science from Hampton University. Ivy and her husband Shawn have two girls, Lucille and Marin.
